We will keep a channel reserved for you as long as you are participating in racing. Let us know your channel number request right away. Channels are assigned on a first come, first served basis. If there is an assigned channel where the skipper is inactive or has moved, ask about it and we can see if he is ready to return to racing or give his channel reservation up.

After a full 12 months of inactivity, channel reservations may be removed to make room for new boats. Anyone wanting to race without a channel reservation or with a channel conflict should come out anyway as many of our members have spare crystal sets that will allow you to race with us.

In late 2002, we learned from THE CR914 NEWS that any two boats operating on channels that were 23 channels apart from each other could create harmonics that might cause "hits" to other boats. As reported, neither of the two boats operating 23 channels apart would get "hit".

**Right now if assigned channels 62 (Graham) and 85 (Paul) sail together there is potential for servo glitching hits on all the other boats operating, but not on these two.
